We arrange the obligatory border veterinary inspection conducted by FASFC, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, upon arrival of your pet and handle the customs clearance. When buying a puppy or kitten from a third country, an invoice is required.
If necessary we can organize boarding of your pet before and after the flight, as well as the delivery to your new home. We also offer road transport to nearby destinations within Europe, including the UK.

Pet travelling without the owner from outside EU
- If your pet is entering Belgium by air from third countries and you are unable to travel on the same flight as your pet, you will need to sign a declaration confirming that you do not intend to sell or transfer ownership of your pet. You must show evidence of your travel within 5 days of your pet's movement.
- If you are intending to sell or change ownership of your dog, cat or ferret, then it must meet additional requirements.
Puppies, kittens and more than 5 pets
Special rules apply when traveling with more than 5 pets or when traveling with puppies or kittens. Owners are strongly advised to seek further information.
- Birds, invertebrates, tropical fish, reptiles, amphibia, mammals such as rodents and rabbits are not subject to requirements of rabies vaccination, but may have to meet other requirements and should have a health certificate and an import permit to enter Belgium. Owners are strongly advised to seek further information.
- If your pet is not a dog, cat or ferret, and especially if it is a turtle or parrot, you should verify that it is not protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (www.CITES.org). You will need to apply for additional permits if this is the case. Over 180 countries participate and enforce CITIES regulations.
